WELCOME!!!!
Mwandi Mission is situated in Mwandi, which is
in the bottom left hand corner of Zambia between Livingstone and
Sesheke. Overseen by the United Church of Zambia through a board of 12
trustees, 6 of whom are Zambian and 6 of whom are American
Presbyterians. The Mission consists of a Hospital, a group of schools,
a retirement home (Kandiana), a centre for Orphans and Vulnerable
Children (OVC) as well as other ongoing projects. This website was
created by Keith and Ida Waddell to give an idea of the work of the
Mission, and to allow people to keep up to date with the latest News.
Keith and Ida Waddell are Missionaries at
Mwandi UCZ Mission. Keith is a teacher at Mwandi Basic school whilst
Ida is a nurse who is involved with the organisation of the hospital
and setting up various projects. A Scottish couple with four children,
they worked at Chengelo School in Mkushi, Zambia, before moving to
Mwandi in July 2004.

from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy
Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith
in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that
the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
